Mediaset already features an IP-based routing core that complies with the ST-2110 standard.
Moreover with IP core Mediaset empowered the Video and Audio production flow.
In this scenario Mediaset is optimizing the interoperability between new and legacy systems.

Robit is proud to have added to this ecosystem the flexibility and power of our Architect, for orchestrating and sharing Control Rooms and Theaters resources.
The project includes four completely independent Control Room systems, located in Segrate and Cologno, and four independent Theaters that can be linked together depending on production needs and schedules.
A fruitful collaboration between the Mediaset team and the Robit team made it possible to achieve the goal of obtaining the best results in terms of workflow, operational efficiency, and automation.
This distributed architecture facilitates resource sharing, ensuring increased system efficiency.
Architect efficiently interfaces all SMPTE ST 2110 Video and Audio devices
including Dante Audio, Solid State Logic Audio consoles and Wisycom’s entire Distributed Antenna System.

Over the years, Mediaset has installed Solid State Logic System networked television production platforms with S500 control surfaces in many of its studios.
The Mediaset team has configured numerous virtual link (VTL) connections on the Solid State Logic Live and System T audio consoles, directing them to specific Dante audio routing paths.
Architect is automating Dante routing to ‘connect’ a specific ‘control room’ to a particular ‘theater’, remapping all audio signals without the need to modify any cabling.
The virtual routing is driven by our Architect’s Web Panels configured to handle the Macro of Dante signals, without the need, and in parallel, to a Dante Controller.
